The St. Louis Aquarium is a brand new, 120,000 sqft aquarium located inside the National Historic Landmark train shed at Union Station, Missouri. The aquarium features one-of-a-kind exhibits with more than 13,000 aquatic animals from the rivers and oceans of the world including more than 60 sharks and rays in a 250,000-gallon tank.
Nassal’s scope included the artificial rockwork as well as all of the exhibitry and theming elements, and interactive play features which can be found throughout the aquarium. One of the feature animal exhibits is a large shark habitat, as well as an immersive otter exhibit.
