Introduction.

Wind your way around soaking fountains and waterfalls as you pass the remains of an ancient civilization. Hang on as the roaring world class rapids send you flying through chutes before you plunge down the tallest drop of its kind into churning whitewater. Your adventure ends at Harmony Village with a greater connection to the world’s rivers, inspired to spread the message of conservation.

What we did.

To create the immersive river experience, Nassal created the artificial rockwork which transports you to the lost jungle. From interactive waterfalls, to representations of caymen crocodiles on the bridge, Nassal’s rockwork created a truly immersive and one-of-a-kind space where guests can immerse themselves into the environment of the river, and tell a story that is unique to SeaWorld.

How we did it.

Nassal worked collaboratively with SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, the Architect (PGAV Destinations) and General Contractor (PCL Construction) to develop a scope of work based on the design intent of the attraction. Careful planning and mockups were required given the requirements for the ride system, and final textures associated for the rockwork and carved plaster that surrounds the attraction. With over 35,000 square feet of hand-sculpting rockwork and carved plaster, Nassal’s talented team of rockwork artisans, carvers, sculptors, and painters worked alongside SeaWorld’s art direction team to capture the essence of a new, and exotic place. Through the “Experiences that Matter” interactives located in Harmony Village, SeaWorld’s guests are able to interact and learn more about the world’s natural jungle environments, and continue the message of conservation.
