Introduction.

Guests challenge the Curse of the Cobra in this thrilling new spinning rollercoaster at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. The attraction includes a fully themed queue experience that showcases multiple snake and reptilian breeds and tells the story of the Cobra’s Curse in an immersive and interactive environment.

What we did.

Nassal design-built an 80 ft. custom sculpted fiberglass snake that serves as the center icon for the attraction. The custom head is over 18’ tall, and features custom acrylic eyes and fangs that the guest comes face to face with at the start of the ride. The base features over 2000 square feet of custom rockwork which ties together the base of the snake with the landscape.

How we did it.

Along with the iconic snake at the center of the attraction, Nassal also completed the theme paint, and theming for the ride queue and load and unload buildings, as well as a custom rockwork entry sign at the front of the attraction.

Conclusion.

The ride itself features a vertical lift that takes riders up in their coaster car to put them face-to-fang with the massive 80 ft. Snake King.
