Full Sail is a school and production facility that provides real world education in creating music, film, games, animation, design and live events. The school’s backlot covers 175,000 s.f. and is designed to emulate the backlot of a movie set. The backlot gives the campus a flavor similar to what can be seen at Disney-MGM Studios and Universal.
The 1,000 foot long backlot contains a variety of different settings in which Full Sail students can fi lm. Among these settings are the Seattle Farmers Market, New Orleans, a gas station, a bagel shop, urban shops, cafes, apartment buildings, and houses. Every time you turn a corner in the backlot you are surrounded by a new environment.
